We named our group as Welsh Ladies Angling Division because WLAD in Welsh language means Country. At the beginning, some anglers thought that there was no need to have ladies group. But now we are doing well and have some 25 members. Among us, 12 anglers are in the Welsh Ladies Fly Fishing Team. We recently acquired grants to purchase equipment, etc. as our aim is to involve more women young and old in fishing.
