-The Great Alaska Sportsman Show will take place in Anchorage, April 2-5, 2009. It’s the social event of the spring season in Alaska. There’ll be speakers, new gear, fly ting and much more. Flyfish in Wales in 2009!
The International Women Fishers and the Welsh Ladies Angling Development group will be offering the 2nd International Gathering of fly fishing women in the wild and beautiful west of Wales. We’ll be fishing for brown trout, sea trout, and Alantic Salmon in both lake and river during our stay in a lovely, newly refurbished lake-side hotel. We’ll fish June 5-6-7, and you can decide whether to fish the lake or the river or a combination of both. (IWFF membership required. Can be obtained at the Gathering. $25 US-$30 International.)

Cost- Option #1. Room & board & lake fishing with a boat/motor & ghillie (guide) (shared by 2) $155 + $26 permit + ½ ghillie/boat/motor $76 = $257 per day (American)
Option #2 Room and board with a boat/motor without a ghillie @ $155 + permit/boat hire $63 = $218 per day (÷ 2 people =$186.50) (American)
