Women's Flyfishing® will once again offer a salmon fly
tying class in January and fly fishing classes in April, May, &
June 2010. Come and learn to flyfish or to tie our favorite Alaskan
patterns. We provide all the equipment. Contact us for registration and information.
- Single day drive-to or fly-out float tubing -- We get out on the lakes
in our float tubes every chance we get, so join us for a day of
relaxing fishing. Either go tubing on the specific dates listed below,

- The Great Alaska Sportsman Show will take
place in Anchorage, April 8-11,
2010. It’s the social event of the spring season in Alaska. There’ll
be speakers, new gear, fly ting and much more. I’ll be doing casting clinics

Our 14th annual Baja Extravaganza for saltwater fly
fishing in Mexico will take place April 13 - 19, 2010 at the lovely,
ocean-side Buena Vista Beach Resort www.hotelbuenavista.com near East Cape on the azure Sea of Cortez.

Lake Clark Sojourn July 2-6 Fish for Arctic grayling, Dolly Varden char, lake trout, and sockeye salmon in one of Alaska's most spectacularly scenic National Parks. (See the National Park Service web page). Trip cost is $2,850 per person (same as 2009!) Trip includes

- A Quick & Wonderful Lake Clark Trip! July 6-8, 2010 Women's Flyfishing® is offering three lucky women a short, two-day trip to spectacular Lake Clark National Park and the Farm Lodge in Port Alsworth.
Leave Anchorage on the afternoon of Tuesday, July 6th on Lake Clark Air and then spend the night and have dinner at the lodge. The next morning (July 7th) we'll fly out into some of the unbelievable scenery that the Lake Clark area has to offer and land on one or more of the nearby lakes for a full day of fly fishing for Arctic grayling, lake trout, surrounded by breathtaking mountain and water vistas. We'll return to the lodge for another of their scrumptious dinners and then spend a second night at the lodge. On the morning of Wednesday, July 8th the lodge's boat will take us to wade and fish some of the tributaries to Lake Clark. Depart Port Alsworth at 6:00 p.m. on July 8th to return to Anchorage.
Trip includes round trip flight from Anchorage, two nights lodging (double occupancy), meals, one day fly-out and one day boat-out guided fly fishing, gear, equipment and flies. Price is an incredible $1,600 per person. Better act quickly before this one goes away.

Annual Fly Fishing
School at Orca Adventure Lodge in Cordova- July 21-25, 2010 Just starting out in fly fishing? We'll have you casting both light and
heavy-weight fly rods, hooking, playing, landing, and releasing fish, tying
knots and constructing leaders, wading safely, and much, much more at our
renowned school. We'll fish for pink and chum salmon as well as Dolly Varden char and cutthroat trout
to get you used to different sizes of fish.
Trip cost is $2,250 (Same as 2009). Price includes the complete
school, all the gear, equipment and flies, four nights lodging (double occupancy), all the
fantastic meals, and four days guided fishing including one fly-out fishing

Canoe, Creek and Flyout - July 27-30, 2009 Come explore the lakes of the Kenai National Wildlife Refuge Wilderness Canoe System by canoe with us and the folks from the Blue Moose Lakeside Lodge. (www.blue-moose.com). Come for dinner and spend your first night at the Lodge near Soldotna to get packed and ready for an early start on July 28th. That day and the next we’ll head out onto these lakes to fish for their wild rainbows from the canoes and then return each night to the cozy lodge, a glass of wine and dinner. July 30th is an optional fly-out day to fish for Arctic grayling on beautiful Crescent Lake-Crescent Creek.

Denali Highway Grayling Safari –
August 2-5, 2010 and August 6 - 9, 2010
One of my favorite trips! We'll fish the remote and lovely
Tangle Lakes area and wander the picturesque road to other choice spots
for non-stop Arctic grayling fishing with dry flies and nymphs. Trip cost is
$900 and includes four days guided fly fishing, instruction, all the gear,
equipment and flies, and camping fees where necessary. (Lodging is available
if you prefer not to camp. We'll

Reel Wilderness Adventures in Wood Tikchick State Park August 21-24, 2010
This super-special camp lies within the largest State Park in the U.S. with scenery, adventure, and fishing to match. See www.reelwild.com/. It’s a great setup, including the cozy weather-ports for sleeping and the large, amazing yurt for the scrumptious meals, including wine with dinner, visiting in front of the fire, or some fly tying while you relax. You’ll love it! We’ll take the boats out for the bows and to the pike bays, and then stalk the char and grayling along the creeks. Just wait until you see the scenery as we head across the lakes to the hidden grayling river, just a few miles past a breathtaking waterfall. Trip cost is $2,700. August 27-30, 2010 or August 27-31, 2010
This trip will take you to a secluded and cozy cabin in Interior Alaska with a wonderful Arctic grayling spring creek right out in front. We’ll fish there August 28-30, 2010. August 31st will be an optional day, during which we hope to fish for silver (coho) salmon on the Nenana River. A great way to combine two different & exciting species of fish.
We’ll start out from the town of Nenana on the Parks Highway on the evening of August 27th where we’ll meet our boat transport to the cabin and three days of great grayling fishing, August 28-30. Then, August 31st will be an optional day for salmon fishing. If you don’t want to do the optional day, we’ll return you to Nenana on the evening of August 30th. If you do want to fish on the 31st and the silvers are in, we’ll spend one more night in the cabin and take the boat out to go salmon fishing on the gravel bars of the Nenana before heading back to Nenana late that afternoon.
Option #1 Trip Includes:
- 3 days guided grayling fishing, 3 nights cabin & 2 nights dinner
- Instruction, all the gear, equipment and flies
- Boat transport to & from the cabin. (Cabin equipped with propane, bunks & cooking supplies)
Option #2 Trip Includes:
